My Most Influential Books

SAMIRtheSAV Friday, October 15, 2010
The very first story I clearly remember, has to be hands down one of the most influential books in my existence. Where's Spot? by Eric Hill was the reason I know how to read. I went to the Fremont Main Library and looked for this book religiously. It was so simple yet so fun cause it was a pop-up book.

RUN AND GO READ IT NOW!

The book that I think I took the most from was The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald. This was one of the first real novels I actually enjoyed in High school. The drama, the characters, and the emotion were just too good. I felt for Gatsby and his yearning for daisy.

Huston Smith's Illustrated World's Religions is a very important book to me. This book opened my eyes to spirituality and enlightened me on the different aspects of religion. I was given this by my father and it was important to me because it helped me understand all the different views and aspects of peoples faith.
